I am interested in all aspects of the esoteric, the occult and the supernatural, and especially in the relationship and links between the various fields these three terms cover.

In the image above, for instance, pendulum-dowsing is being used as an adjunct to Tarot reading. I nearly always use a pendulum when doing a Tarot reading – I seriously believed I was the only one who did, that it was an innovation I had introduced, until I came across this picture! Hand-reading and astrology can also be combined with Tarot reading, and pendulum-dowsing can also be very useful in astrology – when, let us say, the querant does not know the exact time of his or her birth.

In addition, both Tarot and pendulum-dowsing can also be helpful in establishing the facts about particular past lives – and Reincarnation is one of my core-beliefs, as is Faith Healing (the fashionable Reiki system in my view adds little if anything to traditional Faith Healing) and the power of the pendulum in diagnosis of ailments, in pain relief, and in focussing the mind during Faith Healing.

Then again, for a real understanding of the Tarot cards themselves, especially the trumps, and of some of the more complex, but important, spreads, it is essential to have at least a rudimentary knowledge of esoteric religion and of both ancient and medieval history.

Finally, a belief in the supernatural (that there is more to the universe than is dreamt of in Horatio’s philosophy) is in my view absolutely essential.
